If you’ve ever sung inside an old cathedral, you know the power of a bigger room. The bigger the room, the more your voice can resound.
Anthem Church has a clear vision to see Jesus resound from the heart of the Sunshine Coast. Whilst this vision has never been about the building we meet in, we believe a permanent facility would position the church to have a continued presence - where the voices of those who gather can be heard across the city.
Over the past few years, our room has begun to overflow. That's a wonderful thing and comes with a responsibility to steward what God is doing - we need room to resound.
Our current lease facility has served us well, and we are deeply grateful for all God has done in this space. But as we continue to grow, the constraints are clear. An overflowing carpark and people spilling into the foyer made it necessary to move to three Sunday services this March, just to fit everyone in.
We have been actively searching for land and property, strengthening our savings, and restructuring our governance so Anthem is prepared for future ownership, long-term stewardship, and generational impact.
In 2026, our clear goal is to reach $1 million in savings toward a future home.
